The Werribee District Hospital Charitable Foundation plays a vital role financially supporting public hospital services in Wyndham.
Established in 1993 following a generous bequest, the Foundation boasts a proud record of accepting donations, managing funds astutely, and providing significant financial support to our community's public hospital.
A long term servant retires
Last month Jeff Garfield retiered as a Director of the Foundation. Jeff served both as Administrator, Treasurer and Director over many years and he will be greatly missed. The WDHCF Board would like to acknowledge Jeff's contribution and wish Jeff and his familiy the very best.
Critical Care for Wyndham
Werribee Mercy Hospital is building a much needed Critical Care Unit which means the community of Wyndham will have access to Critical Care locally. Currently patients requiring critical care are too often transferred to other hospitals because our local hospital simply doesn't have the capacity to cope with the demand.
This is a great development that will see our local public hospital enhanced with state of the art Critical Care facilities that can look after patients locally, with their families and friends close by. Werribee Hospital Foundation is helping to raise $2million to fit out the Critical Care Unit opening in 2018.
Please help us spread the word and to connect with the community of Wyndham around this cause. We are seeking volunteers and donors who can help us raise these much needed funds.
Find us on facebook and connect with our cause. We need your help to build momentum toward our target of $2million - Critical Care for Wyndham!
